FH Joanneum wins the DBF competition, and we are Sponsors :)

Wings of Glory: The DBF competition is held every year in the United States. The aim is to carry out a special mission using a model aircraft. A team has less than 6 months to assemble, decide on the design, build the model, carry out the flight tests - and leave in April for this international competition.

Image: that's a joke. We just gave a bit of money and said a few encouraging words.
That being said, we are very glad that we did it!

The DBF team from the FH Joanneum has excelled in this competition in recent years. They were on the podium two years ago. It had never won this competition before. They had to wait until we were one of the sponsors, (CB)one with good vibes, and now this is it! This year's team won the competition!

Well done! Well done to the students, who worked tirelessly to achieve this result. Bravo to the other participants, what you do is essential for aviation. And well done to my colleagues at the FH Joanneum, who guided them to success. It is with this generation of new engineers that we will make better aircraft, with new, cleaner fuels. In short, it is with them that we will go further.
