ASME TE 2026: Flame Designers in Mailand

Beautiful Lombardy, here we are!

We are presenting two technical papers at the Turbo-Expo 2026 conference of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) this year, and CBOne is exhibiting at this venue for the first time!

It is with great humility and deep emotion that we arrive in a country where the words ‘Ingeniere’ and ‘Bella Meccanica’ carry such profound meaning. May we prove ourselves worthy of them.

This year we are presenting two papers. One on our advances in metrology using KI-pirinha technology (a journal article on this subject is in the pipeline), and the other on our progress with MOeBIUS technology.

KI-pirinha paper:  presented by Mr Arno Fallast from FH Joanneum

    • Monday June 15th, 16.30; session 05-04: Combustion Measurements 1, location South Wing, Level 2, Amber 2.
    • GT2026-179134:  Optimal sensor placement for flow field classification in an H2 combustor: foundations for experimental results. Fallast, A., Andracher, L., Lesak, S., Thilker, F., Hofer, A. & Giuliani, F.

MOeBIUS.H paper:   presented by Mrs Paulitsch from TU Graz

    • Tuesday June 16th, 13:30; session 04-21 Combustion Emissions I, location South Wing, Level 2, Amber 4
    • GT2026-176374: Fuel jet dynamics and mixing in a constant section recursive sequential combustor. Paulitsch, N. V. M., Tasmany, S., Woisetschläger, J., Krewinkel, R., Hofer, A. & Giuliani, F.

We would like to thank the FFG (Austrian Agency for Research Promotion) and the BMVIT (Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology) for their financial support of the projects presented.
