CBOne at Science Park Graz

The Science Park Graz is an incubator for start-ups issued from the university. It consists in facilities where the start-ups have a working place, and a coaching team with a specific project follow-up and mentoring.

Combustion Bay One is hosted by the Science Park Graz (SPG) since June 2011.

The FFG/AplusB fellowship and the SFG/StartKlar grant support financially CBOne during the incubation period. We are very thankful towards the jury and our sponsors to have been selected.

We kindly acknowledge our mentors, Professor Heitmeir from TU Graz (academic mentor) and Dr Schricker from Piezocryst (business mentor) for their important advices, inputs in the project and advertisement.

Last but not least, we acknowledge the SPG team for its professionalism and its kindness. These are Mr Wutschek (direction), Mr Kühner, Mr Weber (management consultancy & expertise), Mrs Böhm & Mrs Buchegger (Administration).

The nice thing at Science Park is the ambient. There is no competition between the different ventures, because the spectrum of business is very bright and each one makes something different from another. However, there is a good rate of exchange between the people. This camaraderie comes from the genuine mix of innovation, hope and faith that each of us brings in. This makes days where the up in start-up is a bit down much much smoother.
